Printing graphics for slat walls are no different than printing barricade graphics, the only difference is the installation to the slat wall display takes a bit longer. After the adhesive vinyl is mounted to the slatwall, the installer cuts away the adhesive vinyl from the slat wall grooves.
You can create any kind of image as the background for the slatwall fixture or wall you can think of. If you do not have a design department or creative ad agency that can help create your visual creative graphics, PROLAB Digital’s in-house graphics department will work with you to help come up with the look and feel for your slat wall graphics. Once the graphic has been approved, we can produce 1 graphic for a single location or print hundreds of graphic images for a nationwide retail campaign.
Depending on the quality level and price point required for your slat wall graphics, we have 3 different printers to choose from. PDI will use the HP 5500 UV printer for the very highest quality printed adhesive vinyl with either a luster or gloss over-laminate. The Seiko 64S colorpainter is a solvent based printer providing a very durable, long lasting, outdoor adhesive vinyl product at a reasonable price. When there is a huge need to print a large volume of slatwall graphics and the lowest possible price, we recommend printing the adhesive vinyl on our Scitex XL Jet in high quality 6 color mode.
